To enter, complete your submission for the contest at utcontests.com or on the contests page on Facebook. Entrants may submit up to two photos. In order to complete your registration, some users may be asked to fill out additional information before entering. No purchase is necessary. No "Photoshopped" or otherwise manipulated images will be eligible to win. You must have permission from all subjects in photo to publicly post the photo to the contest. The submission phase of the contest begins April 19, 2013, and ends at 11:59 p.m. on May 5, 2013. The voting phase of the contest begins at midnight May 6 and ends at 11:59 p.m. May 12, 2013.

PRIZES

­One winner will receive a prize package valued at $500, courtesy of Frank Motors Group. The package includes a hair and makeup makeover by Swagg Salon (valued at $300) and a $200 VISA gift card. Winner will be selected by U-T Contests team from among the top 10 highest voted photos.  All winners will be notified by email by May 14, 2013, and must pick up their prize at U-T San Diego, 350 Camino de la Reina, San Diego, CA, 92108. Winners are responsible for paying all applicable local, state and federal taxes. For tax reporting purposes, winners will be required to provide legal name, address and social security number or forfeit prize. UT San Diego is not responsible for lost or stolen prizes. All prizes are non-refundable or exchangeable, and cash substitutions are not permitted. Unclaimed prizes will be forfeited. UT San Diego makes no warranty with respect to any prize and reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal of greater value. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries and votes.


ELIGIBILITY
All contestants must be registered users of UTSanDiego.com, residents of San Diego County and 18 years of age or older, and must show a valid driver’s license or picture ID. You must complete all contact information to be eligible to win. Employees of the UT San Diego and immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible. UT San Diego shall be the sole judge of eligibility and reserves the right to disqualify any entrant for any reason. Winners agree to allow use of name and photos by UT San Diego without further compensation. All entries become the sole property of UT San Diego and will not be returned. The contest is subject to all federal, state, and local laws and is void where prohibited. In fairness to all, UT San Diego cannot discuss the contest by phone, mail or in any other way with the contestants. A single contest may be run on multiple platforms, including our website, tablets, smartphones and Facebook. Odds of winning are the same across platforms. Liking our or our partners’ Facebook Pages does not increase chances of winning.

VOTING

Ten votes are allowed per user per day. If fraudulent activity is detected on any submission, those votes and/or the user(s) and/or the submission(s) will be disqualified. Automated voting of any kind is not allowed. Detection of said automated voting will lead to votes being voided. Only one registered account per voter. If multiple accounts are detected for a single voter, they will be disabled and votes disqualified. This contest is not intended for gambling. If it is determined that a contestant is using the contest for gambling purposes, they will be disqualified and reported to authorities.

OTHER CONDITIONS

UT San Diego reserves the right to change, modify, or extend contest dates if it should be deemed necessary. UT San Diego reserves the right to suspend or cancel the contest at any time. UT San Diego assumes no responsibility for injury or loss that may arise from participation in the contest. UT San Diego assumes no responsibility for computer system, phone line, hardware, software or program malfunctions, delayed computer transmissions or network connections that are human or technical in nature. UT San Diego reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel or suspend this contest, in its entirety or in part should virus, bug, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or other causes beyond UT San Diego's control corrupt the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper play of the contest. UT San Diego is not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate entry information whether caused by Internet users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the contest by any technical or human errors, which may occur in the processing of the entries in the contest. UT San Diego reserves the right to withdraw the transmission of this contest at any time and award the prize from among eligible entries received prior to the date of the withdrawal. UT San Diego reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the game or website or to be acting in violation of the official rules.
